Schools should work in partnership with families and communities to provide the opportunities for students to realize their potential and help build vision for their future and roles as Americans
Believes in building mutual respect to find solutions to the challenges of today and the future
Models principled leadership oriented toward supporting teachers, classrooms and schools
Supports local control and decision-making for schools
Believes in the power of work and growth of vocational education opportunities for our studens.
Steve King is a tested and proven educational leader in Yavapai County for the past 23 years. He believes in phonics-based reading instruction, expanded Vocational Education opportunities, and has been a statewide leader in parental choice. He believes schools should be places of education and opportunities and not of any kind of political indoctrination. He does not believe CRT has any place in our schools.
